OhMyIdiom (?) 'Nothing to write home about'

In simple, the Idiom of 'Nothing to write home about' relates to something that is not exciting / not good enough.

For example: I went to watch the movie Avengers yesterday, it was okay but the fighting scene was already common as seen in other movies, thus it was nothing to write home about.

Another example: ''Dude, although I appreciate you singing to us, your voice is nothing to write home about, your voice sucks dude!! so shut up! Or I'll kill you! and bury you beneath the deepest ocean the earth has to offer!!''  (Well that escalated quickly..)
